Garden and terrace design Landscaping
This landscaping project was carried out for a private home in Gostingen, on a steeply sloping site.
This type of configuration is often perceived as an obstacle to the creation of a functional garden. However, with a rigorous technical approach and a creative eye, the slope becomes an asset.
A garden structured by retaining walls
Here, the aim was to stabilize levels, facilitate circulation and create a coherent, aesthetically pleasing outdoor space. To achieve this, we designed and built a series of cascading retaining walls, perfectly integrated into the sloping terrain.
These structures play a central role: they secure the ground, while visually organizing the outdoor space. Built with care, they meet precise technical requirements (foundation, drainage, integration) while blending naturally into the landscape.
Gentle traffic and living spaces
In the upper part, a lawn has been installed as an extension of the terrace, creating an accessible, unobstructed relaxation area.
Japanese steps cross this space to reach the lower levels of the garden, where the retaining walls are located, guiding the walk in a fluid, decorative manner.
Privacy, vegetation and visual anchors
Wooden fences give structure to the space, offering discreet privacy without weighing the whole down.
The landscaping is completed by carefully composed plant beds, as well as a solitary subject that serves as a focal point in the garden.
The whole combines stability, functionality and natural aesthetics.
An example of garden design on a slope
This project illustrates our expertise in garden design on sloping ground: making the most of the constraints of the soil, while guaranteeing the stability, comfort and durability of the space created.
If you too have a sloping plot of land, don't hesitate to call on our teams to make the most of it. ✌️
