From May 7 to October 18, 2025, Luxembourg will be transformed into a vast open-air garden thanks to LUGA - Luxembourg Urban Garden.
This ephemeral exhibition takes over five emblematic sites, including four in Luxembourg City (Parc municipal Édouard André, Pétrusse and Alzette valleys, Kirchberg district) and one in Ettelbrück, in the Nordstad. Visitors will discover almost 16 kilometers of urban gardens, artistic and landscape installations, agricultural projects and living spaces reinvented for the occasion.
A collective project to "Make the invisible visible"
Organized for the first time in Luxembourg, LUGA is much more than just a horticultural exhibition. It's an open-air ideas laboratory, a platform for exchange and experimentation on the city of tomorrow.
Under the motto “Making the invisible visible”, the event highlights the often overlooked natural and historical riches that shape our cities: micro-organisms, ecological processes, complex interactions between living beings and their environment.
Creating a balance between nature and urban life is therefore within the realm of possibility.
Committed players for a sustainable city
LUGA is run by the LUGA asbl association, with financial support from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Viticulture, the City of Luxembourg and the City of Ettelbrück.
It is organized in close collaboration with the Fédération Horticole Luxembourgeoise an observer member. This synergy between public institutions and players in the horticultural sector illustrates the shared desire to rethink urban space in a sustainable and inclusive way.
A rich and varied program
Over 162 days, more than 1,000 events are on offer: conferences, creative workshops, educational walks, gardening sessions, live shows, sports activities and wellness. These events are aimed at everyone, from children and professionals to nature and culture enthusiasts. And the icing on the cake: most of them are free!

Among the many participants, our company is proud to contribute to this collective adventure. Our project, in line with the values of the LUGA, can be discovered in the Édouard André municipal park, in the heart of the Ville Haute.
